For a typical residential agreement up to 11 months, Andhra Pradesh charges 0.4% of total rent for the term. AP stamps leases on total rent for the whole term: any lease up to 10 years — including the standard 11-month agreement — pays 0.4% of total rent (₹660 on ₹15,000/month for 11 months). Agreements of 11 months or less need only stamping/notarisation.
